Khidirli village in the Aghdam region is surrounded by the Tartarchay right water channel from the east, Aghdam city and Aghdam mountain park from the south, and the national main road from the west.
Khidirli village was occupied by Armenian armed forces in 1993. After the glorious victory of our army in the Second Karabakh War, according to the trilateral statement signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the President of the Russian Federation, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia on November 10, 2020, the Aghdam region came under the control of the Azerbaijani armed forces on November 20, 2020.
The total area designed for the settlement of 5990 people (1500 families) in Khidirli village, located 3 km from the center of Aghdam city, is 418 hectares.
According to the project, existing unusable buildings in the area will be demolished, and a modern "smart village" will be built in its place. The design work for the village will be carried out in stages. Taking into account the living burden of the population that will settle here, 160 hectares of land have been allocated for the first stage of the construction of neighborhoods.
In the first stage, 719 private houses will be built for the relocation of 2951 people to the village, and all conditions will be created to ensure the employment of the population in Khidirli village. A total of 2,595 people are expected to be employed in cultural and entertainment centers, religious structures, commercial enterprises, economic development facilities, education, management, and agriculture.
Construction works started on October 10, 2022.
The completion of construction is planned for 10.04.2024.
